This week on the Catholic Sprouts podcast, we are talking about the Fifth

Commandment, You Shall Not Kill. Yesterday, we started things off by looking at St. Maria

Goretti, a saint who was murdered, and we talked about how each and every life is sacred.

And through this commandment, we're not just called to simply

not kill, but to protect all lives, no matter who that life might belong to. Today we are going to

talk about a very important part of this commandment. We are going to talk about the topic of abortion.

In this world, there are people with lots of different opinions about abortion, about whether a baby

that is growing inside of the womb of his or her mother, whether that is really a person. People also like to debate at what

point this embryo growing inside of a mother's womb becomes a person. And they like to differentiate

between this because they say at one point, it's okay to get rid of that baby and in another

point it really is a person and it's no longer okay. Well, we are going to talk simply about what we
