0:30.5	Hey there, Sprouts. Today is three, June 11th, 2020. It is also the feast day of St. Barnabas.
0:36.0	Now, this week on the Catholic Sprouts podcast, we have been talking about the first commandment.
0:39.3	And that commandment is, of course, I am the Lord your God. You shall have no other gods besides me. Now, we've already talked about a couple of
0:45.8	situations where you might not think that a person was breaking the first commandment. I mean,
0:51.6	it's not like they were worshipping an idol. But in fact,
0:55.0	they were. They were not acknowledging that the Lord, our God is the only God. They were putting things between them, not recognizing him or even putting something ahead of him.
1:08.7	We talked about a girl who was just lackadaisical and not focused and not recognizing God in mass.
1:15.1	And then yesterday we talked about a boy who was so obsessed with getting and then having a red, shiny car,
1:21.8	that he put it above even God.
1:25.0	Now today, for all you moviegoers, we're going to talk about an example from a movie. We're
1:30.8	going to talk about an example from Star Wars. So if you have seen this movie, then it'll make a
1:37.2	little more sense. If you haven't, I'll try to fill in the details that you need to know.
1:42.2	So in the early Star Wars movies, there's a character named
1:46.1	Anakin Skywalker. And there's a lot of background we could talk about, but here is the basics
1:51.8	that you need to know about Anakin Skywalker. He is discovered to be very connected to the force,
1:58.7	which means that he will grow up to be a powerful Jedi. But like all
2:04.1	Jedi, before he is a master Jedi, he has to go through an apprentice trip, a training,
2:10.6	and his master is Obi-Wan Kenobi. So as he continues on, Anakin Skywalker breaks one of the major Jedi rules. As a Jedi, you're not
2:21.9	supposed to ever get married or have any sort of a romantic relationship. And it's because as a
2:28.4	Jedi, you've given your life in service of others and being devoted to just one would distract you from that.
2:36.1	But anyway, Anakin decides to break this rule and he falls in love with and marries a woman
