Now this week on the Catholic Sprouts podcast, we are going to be jumping into our summer series.

All summer long, we are going to be doing a deep dive into the Ten Commandments.

Now, I bet that you are familiar with what the Ten Commandments are, and I wouldn't be surprised

if you could actually name all of the Ten Commandments. Can you do it? Well, if you can, turn to the person next to you and list them all

right now. If you can't, don't worry. We are going to be taking one commandment each week all summer

long and really digging into it. Because here is a thing with almost all of Scripture,

but especially with the Ten Commandments.

We can look at them and memorize them what the words that they are, and we can think that we

completely understand them. In fact, sometimes we can maybe even think, well, this applies more

to the people that lived a long time ago than to us. But there is a lot going on in each of the

Ten Commandments that God gave to Moses. There are many lessons that we can apply directly to the

life that we are living right now, right here in the modern world. And there is still a lot that we can

So to kick things off, let's just remind ourselves what the Ten Commandments are, when God gave them to us, and how.
