Today is the feast, so make sure you celebrate.

Fatima, Portugal, Lucia, Hesinta, and her brother Francisco.

0:46.5

Now, this week on the Catholic Spuds podcast, we have already been talking about the angel

0:51.2

that Mary sent three different times to teach the children how to pray the

0:55.9

year before Mary started appearing to them. Yesterday we talked about the first two apparitions,

1:56.4

people died, but it was the war between good and evil. Mary had a message that was for the world

2:04.4

at that moment to turn away from evil to be converted, to commit to prayer so that the war could

2:10.8

end. But she had a bigger message that is for us today, a message about the reality of hell and sin and the need for prayer.

2:22.3

Now, to really, really show how important this message was, Mary showed the children something.

2:30.4

Lucia describes Mary raised her arms and the visionary children there, they could see that the world fell away.

2:38.4

And it was almost like it was ripped open and they were allowed to look into hell.
