| 0:29.6 | we have been talking about the sin of pride and the virtue that opposes pride, which is |
| 0:36.5 | humility. |
| 0:40.5 | We saw this through David and Goliath. |
| 0:42.7 | We saw it through St. Patrick yesterday. |
| 0:50.1 | And today we are going to look at the ultimate example of being humble and rejecting pride. |
| 0:54.0 | And of course, that is Jesus Christ. |
| 1:02.2 | Now, why is Jesus the ultimate example of choosing humility and refusing to be proud? |

| 2:04.2 | humility, by refusing to be proud, even the way he grew up in Nazareth. There's no record of him |
| 2:11.9 | doing amazing things. He was simply a boy in an ordinary family. Of course, the greatest example of humility that he gave us |
| 2:21.7 | is his death. He allowed himself to be counted among criminals. He was paraded through the streets of |
| 2:28.9 | Jerusalem like he was a murderer or a thief when in fact he was completely sinless, but he let this happen. |
| 2:37.7 | He let himself look humiliated, but he let that happen. |
| 2:43.2 | Now, what can we learn from this example of Jesus? |
