Hey there, sprouts. Today is Sprouts. Today is Tuesday, November 26th, 2019. This week on the Catholic Spouts podcast, we are talking about the absolute top of the ladder. We're talking about wisdom,

0:38.9

the gift of the Holy Spirit.

0:44.5

We've already talked about how wisdom is being at the top of a mountain, being with God,

0:49.7

allowing God to affect the way we see things and think about things, and from that point,

0:55.7

looking down on the world. Now, today, we're going to back up and we are going to talk about very intelligent things. Are you ready to do that with me? I know that you can do this.

1:45.9

They think about all of these things.

1:47.5

What are our roles?

1:48.6

What are we called to do?

1:50.7

Now, there are a lot of people in the world that have been philosophers.

1:54.9

There are people even before Jesus was alive that were philosophers.

1:59.6

The most probably notable are Aristotle and Plato.

2:05.0

They spent a lot of time sitting around and thinking about these big questions.

2:11.5

What is the meaning of life? Where did we come from? And the thing is, even though people have been asking and talking

2:20.5

about these questions for a long time, we still have plenty to think about. The questions aren't

2:28.3

fully answered. Thankfully, many wonderful Catholic saints have also thought about these questions.
