| 0:00.0 | You're listening to Catholic Sprouts, the daily podcast for Catholic kids that strives to plant seeds of faith. |
| 0:24.1 | Hey there, Sprouts. |
| 0:27.6 | Today is Wednesday, November 20th, 2019. |
| 0:34.7 | This week on the Catholic Spouts podcast, we are talking about the great gift of the Holy Spirit understanding. |
| 0:39.8 | We've already talked about how understanding is what separates us from the animals, |
| 0:47.8 | and also how the gift of the Holy Spirit of understanding is what allows us to really perfect our faith that we can know for certain that God is there by sensing things around us, by gathering information, |
| 0:56.0 | and being strong and firm in our faith. Now today we are going to look to Jesus for an incredible |
| 1:01.7 | way that he helps us with this gift of understanding. Now remember this with me. After Jesus |

| 1:44.0 | different disciples, |
| 1:45.4 | but he didn't appear to them all at once, at least not right away. |
| 1:49.3 | And these particular disciples that were on the road to Amas, they were marveling at all that had happened, |
| 1:56.0 | at the crucifixion and at the fact that some of the people in their company, |
| 2:00.1 | some of the other followers of |
| 2:01.5 | Jesus, had just claimed to have seen Jesus. They're talking about this. And then what happens |
| 2:07.3 | is a stranger, a very nice stranger, but someone that they had never seen before, starts walking |
| 2:14.1 | along with them, wondering, what are you talking about? And they marvel, they say, are you the only person in the world that hasn't heard about |
| 2:22.1 | what's been happening in Jerusalem, about the death of Jesus Christ, about the fact that he might |
