Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Wednesday, October 2, 2019. It is also the feast day of guardian angels.

So today, before we dive into our topic, let's talk a little bit about guardian angels.

Now, you specifically have a guardian angel assigned to you.

Isn't that incredible? God loves you so much that he gave you a guardian angel. But do you know what

a guardian angel does? Well, a guardian angel does three things, and they all start with a letter P. First of all, the guardian

angel assigned to you protects you. Protects you. They are guardians, so that is what they are meant to do.

But they protect you not only from getting into a car accident or falling off playground equipment, they protect you

from anything that will endanger your soul from going to heaven.

So your guardian angel is working very hard to protect you from temptation, to protect you

from selfishness and sin.

We don't always have to listen to our guardian angel,

and very often we sin anyway,

but that is what our guardian angel is most concerned with,

getting us to heaven.

And so that leads to the second thing

that your guardian angel does all the time for you,

and that is pray. Your guardian angel does all the time for you, and that is pray.

Your guardian angel is diligently praying for you always.

Remember, guardian angels and all angels, in fact, are really like members of the army of

God.

They are in God's court. They serve him and love him and proclaim his
