| 1:18.2 | He lived in Italy. |
| 1:20.1 | He was a priest, but he was a stigmatist and a mystic. |

| 1:30.9 | a stigmatist is someone who receives the wounds of Christ. They can be various wounds, but in St. |
| 1:40.3 | Padre Pio's case, he received the nail marks of Jesus in his hand. |
| 1:45.8 | These weren't something he gave to himself. |
| 1:48.1 | They were a mystical gift. |
| 1:50.5 | They did not heal, but he wore gloves over them oftentimes to hide the wounds to draw less attention to himself. |
| 1:59.1 | But there were something he received so that he might better |
| 2:01.9 | understand the suffering of Jesus. Saint Padre Pia was also a mystic, which means he had |
| 2:09.6 | mystical experiences where he had visions of Jesus and Mary. Now, we know a lot of interesting things about St. Padre Pio, but one of the |
| 2:21.9 | most obvious things about this saint is that he loved the rosary. He was devoted to it. And he |
