Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Wednesday, September 11th, 2019. This week on the Catholic Sprouts

podcast, we are talking about holiness for girls. We've already talked about the fact that

boys and girls are equal, but we're different. We were created differently, and therefore

our walk to holiness will be a little bit

different. We started talking about the feminine genius as well. We talked about the first characteristic

that we are called to receive, just like Mary, received Jesus at the adenciation. Next, we are going to talk about the second characteristic of the feminine genius,

and that is sensitivity, meaning as women, we are created to be sensitive, to be feeling,

and to be in tune with the people around us. Now, Mary is our great

example of this. She really showed us how to live out this, this design in ourselves, to be

sensitive to be to other people. And we're going to look at actually

three different times that Mary did this. First of all, right when Mary was told that she would be

the mother of Jesus, she was also told that her cousin Elizabeth, who was super old, was actually going to become a mother for the first time

as well.

Now, what did Mary do?

Well, she got this crazy news that was going to change her life, but she didn't spend

time dwelling on it or brooding about it.

Nope, she packed her bags and she rushed on over to her cousin Elizabeth's house.

She spent time serving her, helping her through the end of her pregnancy and together they

rejoiced in God's plan. She was sensitive to Elizabeth. Elizabeth was going through something

crazy too. So she went there to

enjoy to live through that craziness with her. Next, there was a time when Mary and Jesus both went to
