| 1:22.8 | Sam Monica was a Christian in the early church. She lived in the northern part of Africa. And although we don't know |
| 1:30.4 | a ton about St. Monica, we know a lot about St. Monica's son, St. Augustine, whose feast day we |
| 1:39.1 | celebrate tomorrow. Now, St. Monica was still a great saint in her own right because she was Christian, |
| 1:47.5 | but her husband was not. And for a long time, her son, St. Augustine, was not either. Both her husband |
| 1:56.0 | and her son lived very sinful lives. They were not only rejected God, but they got into all sorts of |
| 2:04.0 | sinful behaviors. St. Monica probably tried to talk to them about God, but more than that, |

| 2:43.6 | many writings that we still refer to to understand our faith. So through St. Monica, we can see |

| 2:54.1 | hearts, but the hearts of those around us. Now, think about the people in your life. Maybe there's |
| 3:00.9 | someone you know that doesn't believe in God. And maybe you have tried to talk to them about God. |
