Well, hello, sprouts. Today is Wednesday, August 8th, 2018, and it is the feast of St. Dominic.

This week on Catholic sprouts, we have been talking about the little way, which is a path to holiness for the rest of us, given to us by St. Teres of Lisu.

Now, St. Teres was a great saint, but you know what? St. Dominic might have been an even

greater saint. St. Dominic accomplished a lot for the faith during his life. St. Dominic founded an order called

the Dominicans. And guess what? They're still around today, hundreds and hundreds of years after

his death. And they are all around the world. People join them to become nuns, brothers, priests,

and laypeople. St. Dominic also was an amazing preacher during his lifetime. He brought many,

many people to the faith, and he changed the entire world around him through his preaching.

Also, tradition tells us that Mary appeared to St. Dominic and gave him the prayer of the

rosary, a prayer that is one of the most powerful prayers that we have as Catholics.

She gave that to St. Dominic, and he did so much to tell other people about the rosary

and bring them into a deeper faith with Mary and Jesus.

So he did a lot.

But you know what? St. Cherez did not do any of those amazing things.

And for the rest of us, who might not experience visions of Mary or found religious orders,

Tres has a beautiful quote for us to remember. St. Cherez said, in this life, we cannot do
