0:28.1	Today is also the feast day of Our Lady of Fatima.
0:32.8	If you've been around Catholic Spouts for a while, you may know that our Lady of Fatima is a very special patroness around here.
0:43.0	We dedicate a lot of the things that we do to her and ask her to protect them.
0:48.5	Of course, our Lady of Fatima refers to Mary when she reappeared to three poor shepherd children just over 100 years ago.
0:59.4	She appeared in 1917 in Portugal, and many of the things that Mary revealed then have come to be
1:09.5	known.
1:10.1	She asked that the whole world, and specifically Russia,
1:13.4	be consecrated to her immaculate heart. She also advised the three children that she appeared to,
1:20.2	to pray the rosary often, and also to make sacrifices and offer them to God for the salvation of sinners.
1:30.0	To show just how important this was, in one of her appearances, Mary allowed these three
1:35.9	children who were 10, 8, and 7 years old to see hell, to see souls suffering in hell.
1:45.7	The three children that Mary appeared to were Lucia and her two younger cousins,
1:51.8	Francisco and Hesinta Marto.
1:55.3	They are all saints now, and as we remember our lady of Fatima today, we are reminded that we too are called
2:03.8	to pray the rosary for peace in a world that is torn apart by war right now, and also to offer
2:11.2	our tiny suffering and sacrifices to God for the redemption of sinners. With that of mind, please join me in our May prayer,
2:20.6	the Memorari, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen.
