faith. Today we're going to look at an example of tradition, which is the seven sacraments. This is a huge topic, so we're going to

So like I said, sacred scripture is the bedrock, the foundation of our faith.

Everything we believe comes from Scripture.

However, not everything we believe is explicitly or directly stated in scripture.

You can imagine there was a lot of questions as the church was being formed.

And who was going to answer these questions?

Well, it was the apostles and the men who replaced the apostles.

It's important that we remain united in the practice of our faith and

our set of beliefs. So therefore, these questions need answers. So let's talk about the seven

sacraments. Now, all of the sacraments are referenced in the Gospels. For example, the sacrament of baptism. We know that John the

Baptist was baptizing and that he even baptized Jesus Christ. We know that the apostles go out and they

are baptizing people. And so we know, yes, baptism is good. Baptism is the beginning of being in relationship with God.
