Hey there, Spouts, today is Wednesday, March 26th, 20205.

Today is also the feast day of a saint from the Netherlands who lived in the 700s.

His name was St. Ludger.

St. Lou Gehr actually is a really incredible story of how

one saint's life impacts the lives of other saints. And so Netherlands, this is where he lived,

St. Boniface was in this area, and he was preaching all around Germany into the Netherlands.

At the time, this place was mostly pagan.

Most people had not heard the name of Jesus.

And so St. Lugar, as a little boy, who was raised in a pagan family, he heard St. Boniface preaching.

And he was so moved that he converted on the spot and became a disciple of St. Boniface.

Eventually, Boniface sent him to Rome to be trained as a priest.

And he came back to the Netherlands to be a missionary himself, to bring others into Christianity, to tear down pagan temples and destroy

pagan practices.

So it's a great reminder to all of us, even though we might not live in the wild world of

It's a great reminder to us that when someone brings us to Jesus, we then have a
