| 1:12.7 | mistreated by several of her slave owners and resold several times before being sold to an Italian |
| 1:18.7 | consul who took her to Italy and gave her to a friend. That friend placed her in the custody of |
| 1:24.7 | the Kenosian sisters in Venice, and it was there that she learned about |
| 1:28.4 | God and felt drawn to the Catholic faith. When her owners tried to take her back, she refused, |
| 1:34.3 | and a court ruling decided that she was free and was allowed to make her profession of faith |
| 1:38.6 | and join the sisters, where she lived out her days as a cook and doorkeeper at the convent. |
