Today is the ninth day in the 11th month in the year of our Lord, 2024.

My name is Cyril and Pedro Lot, and you're listening to Saturdays with Sir Rolone on Catholic

Sprouts, where every Saturday we discuss the art of dragon sling.

Today we celebrate the dedication of the Lateran

Basilica and Rome. This church is the official cathedral of Rome, and because it's the mother

church of the Pope's diocese, it is therefore the spiritual home of all Catholics. On this day,

we celebrate the unity of the Catholic Church with the Pope. So in chapter one of book one in my

Seven Deadly dragons book series,

The Red Dragon of Pride, the story begins with a phrase I heard from my father before he died,

and then my grandfather, who was trying to help me through that challenging time as he walked me

to my first day of school at the Woodshare Academy of Dragon Sling. It is this phrase that will be

our topic of discussion today. He said,

Stout heart, lad, without dragons to slay, we can't find our way. It is not one of the seven

official Dragon Sane Maxums that we learn through the book series, which helps us defeat dragons.

Like all those other maxims, this one rhymes, but unlike all those other maxims, this one does not tell us how to defeat dragons.

It attempts to explain to us why an all-knowing and all-powerful God would allow dragons to exist and why God would allow dragons to attack us.

Perhaps you're familiar with Romans chapter 8, verse 28, which says, we know that all things work for good for those

who love God who are called according to his purpose. In the face of intense suffering and trials,
