Summary

This week we are launching into a new series which will explore the seven truth of the Kerygma. Kerygma means "proclamation". It is a boiled down summary of our Faith and our lives with Christians. It is the exact same message that the Apostles carried to the world and used to build the Church. The Kerygma helps us today understand what we belief, what we are called to do as Christians and how we can share the Faith with others.

This week we are exploring the first truth of the Kerygma: God loves you and He has a plan for your life.

+MONDAY: What is the Kerygma?

+TUESDAY: The radical idea that God is love

+WEDNESDAY: How love changed hearts and then the whole world

+THURSDAY: God has a plan, but He let's us choose if we will follow it

+FRIDAY: God's plan to save the world.

1:03.7	prayer to the sacred heart of Jesus. In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen.
1:12.6	O most holy heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you, and with lively sorrow for my sins, I offer you this poor heart of mine.
1:33.2	Make me humble, patient, pure, and wholly obedient to your will.
1:48.4	Grant good Jesus that I may live in you and for you. Protect me in the midst of danger. Comfort me in my afflictions, give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, your blessings on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death, amen.
1:56.5	So once again, we are talking about the first truth of seven in the chrygma.
2:02.1	God loves you and has a plan for your life.
2:06.3	Now, as Christianity spread, the world changed.
2:10.6	A lot of things that we take for granted were only developed as the world became Christian.
2:18.0	So let me give you a couple of examples.
2:20.9	Hospitals, schools, charity of any kind, law, lawyers, those all came out of Christianity.
2:31.0	And you know why?
2:32.9	Because suddenly when we believe that God is love,
2:36.9	that he loves me, I come to realize that I'm not the only one he loves. God loves all people.
2:45.2	And all people were created in the image and likeness of God. Therefore, all people have an infinite dignity.
