Summary

This week we are launching into a new series which will explore the seven truth of the Kerygma. Kerygma means "proclamation". It is a boiled down summary of our Faith and our lives with Christians. It is the exact same message that the Apostles carried to the world and used to build the Church. The Kerygma helps us today understand what we belief, what we are called to do as Christians and how we can share the Faith with others.

This week we are exploring the first truth of the Kerygma: God loves you and He has a plan for your life.

+MONDAY: What is the Kerygma?

+TUESDAY: The radical idea that God is love

+WEDNESDAY: How love changed hearts and then the whole world

+THURSDAY: God has a plan, but He let's us choose if we will follow it

+FRIDAY: God's plan to save the world.

1:25.3	Grant good Jesus that I may live in you and for you. Protect me in the midst of danger.
1:32.8	Comfort me in my afflictions. Give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death. Amen. So yesterday we learned
1:49.5	the term corigma, which is Greek for proclamation. And we reminded ourselves of the early church,
1:57.0	these very humble, mostly fishermen that set out into the whole world and truly
2:03.7	changed the world through the message they shared. And that message they shared is the
2:09.9	corigma. So the first point, first of these seven truths is the fact that God loves you and he has a plan for you. So to understand this,
2:20.6	we need to look at that first point, that God is love. Now, perhaps you've heard that
2:28.3	before. In fact, I've talked about this reality on the podcast many times, but to understand how radical this teaching is,
2:37.2	we once again have to go back to the early church. Now picture, St. Peter's, St. Paul, God directed
2:45.6	them to the city of Rome, so they went there. And Rome and many many places in the ancient world, had many gods that
2:53.6	they worshipped. We know that these are false gods. But you have to know that these false gods were
