This week we are exploring the Devotional titles of our Blessed Mother. Devotional titles helps us understand Mary's interior life and how she serves as a model for our in virtue and holiness. Many of these titles are also attached to liturgical feast days!

1:00.0	adore, I hope, and I love you. I ask pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore,
1:09.0	do not hope, and do not love you, amen. So like we were talking about
1:15.8	yesterday with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mary's heart is oftentimes shown pierced with a sword.
1:24.2	Now this refers to the prophecy that was given to her when she brought Jesus to the temple at the presentation.
1:33.3	You can read this conversation in the Bible where she was told that she would face such sorrows that her heart would be pierced by a sword.
1:46.2	And we know that indeed Mary's life was full of sorrows, great joys, but also great sorrows. And so when we remind ourselves that Mary is
1:55.4	not afraid of bad things, she's not afraid of discomfort and sadness. It is a great comfort to us that she will
2:03.6	always be near us, that she won't abandon us, and also that she knows what we're going through.
2:11.1	So our mother of sorrows refers to seven specific sorrows that we can see Mary experiencing in sacred scripture. And there is a
2:21.7	devotional that goes along with these different mysteries. Also, it's important to remember that
2:27.8	when Mary appeared in Cabejo, Rwanda, about 50 years ago, she identified herself as the mother of sorrows or the mother of the
2:38.5	word. She used both of those titles. So clearly, this is something that heaven has affirmed,
