Lord, 2024. My name is Sir Rowland, Peter Lot, and you're listening to Saturdays

with Sir Rowland on Catholic Sprouts where every Saturday we discuss the art of dragon slain.

trusting God's grace to do all the rest. This maxim was a major theme in the first book of our new

series of the seven deadly dragons, the Red Dragon of Pride. Today we're going to discuss the

second dragon slain maxim, which can be found in the second book of our series, the Orange

featured in the book. The dragon slaying maxim in book two is, to kill the fruit of the dragon,

you must get to the root of the dragon. In simple terms, this means if you want to overcome sin and temptation,

then you must dig deep and figure out what is causing the sin and temptation. Being a dragon-sayer

takes a bit of detective work, kind of like being a doctor. Let's say you go to the doctor

because you suddenly have a red rash all over your arms and legs and hands, and it's itching like

crazy. Well, a lazy doctor might just

hand you some anti-itch cream and say, here, rub this all over your arms and legs until the rash goes away.
