So, friends, for the last four days, we have been exploring the mystery and the beauty of the Eucharist,

how Jesus celebrated the last supper, which was a

Passover meal, and he transformed that Passover meal into the very first Mass, instituting the

sacraments of the Eucharist and the priesthood. We talked about the paschal mystery, how Jesus

without the Mass, without the priest, we would have no blessed sacrament.

And so we have the privilege of reserving or keeping the consecrated hosts that are left over after the celebration of the mass in the beautiful
