To celebrate the release of THE CATHOLIC PARENT on FORMED, a video series we have been working on for the past year with the Augustine Institute, we are spending this week discussing the Precepts of the Church. THE CATHOLIC PARENT showcases the unique and beautiful way that Catholic Families live out the Precepts of the Church...but what are the Precepts of the Church?

+ MONDAY: Attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation

+ TUESDAY: Attend Confession at least once a year.

+ WEDNESDAY: Receive the Eucharist at least once a year.

+ THURSDAY: Observe Days of Fasting and Abstinence

+ FRIDAY: Provide for the Needs of the Church

for us to be truly Catholic. There are five precepts. The first is attending Mass every Sunday

and every holy day of obligation. The second precept that the church gives us is that to be truly Catholic, we must go to
