| 1:04.4 | So St. Ambrose. So St. Ambrose lived about a hundred years after St. Nicholas. |
| 1:12.8 | And the bad news is, you know, that heretic that St. Nicholas was fighting in the 300th, |

| 1:25.4 | This false teaching that Arian was passing around, it spread, and people believed it. |
| 1:31.2 | Some priests even believed it, some bishops, and certainly some emperors believed it. |

| 1:40.0 | But first of all, St. Ambrose was born in France. |
| 1:43.4 | His father was a Roman official. |
| 1:45.7 | After his father died, he and his mother and his sister moved to Rome. |
| 1:50.7 | He was a brilliant man, and soon he was an appointed governor in the Roman system. |
| 1:57.2 | He lived in Milan then, and the bishop of Milan at the time had been a follower of the Aryan heresy. |
| 2:05.2 | After this bishop died, the whole city of Milan gathered and had a huge debate. |
| 2:11.6 | Should they elect another bishop that believed in the Aryan heresy, or should they go back to the original teaching |
