Summary
Join us as we discuss the 6th Commandment, You shall not commit adultery, and explore marriage and chastity.
+ Monday: Marriage is a sacrament and a sign to the world that reveals the very nature of God.
+ Tuesday: Through Marriage, a husband and a wife become co-creators with God. Their love produces another person.
+ Wednesday: What is chastity and how do we strive for chastity through self-mastery?
+ Thursday: It can be tempting to use people, but through the gift-of-self, we are able to respond with love to all people.
+ Friday: Our primary vocation is to love. What we do with our bodies matters. What we do inside of our minds matters as well.

| 0:30.8 | Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Monday, October 9th, 2023. Today is also the feast day of St. John Henry Newman. Now, St. John Henry Newman lived just a little bit over a hundred years ago. |
| 0:39.3 | He lived in England, |
| 0:47.3 | and when he was just 15 years old, he actually had a deep conversion, gave his life to Jesus Christ, and shortly after that, began to study for the priesthood, but not the Catholic priesthood. |
| 0:53.6 | He became an Anglican priest and professor. |
| 0:58.9 | Now, Anglicans, we sometimes refer to them as belonging to the Church of England. |

| 1:26.5 | brilliant, and he led a group of professors at Oxford |
| 1:30.4 | to really dig into their faith to go back to the church fathers. And wouldn't you know it that all |
| 1:36.7 | of that study actually led him to the Catholic faith? He came to realize that the Catholic faith is the true faith, |
| 1:47.6 | and when he was an older man, he converted. Now, this was a big step and sort of dangerous |
| 1:55.0 | in England. He ended up losing his family when he converted and losing many of his friends, but he knew that |
| 2:02.2 | the Catholic Church was the true church founded by Jesus Christ. He went on to continue to study |
| 2:08.6 | and write promoting the Catholic faith. He became a Catholic priest and then bishop and then |
| 2:15.3 | cardinal. And we remember for him for his devout faith, |
| 2:19.6 | his just love of the truth, |
| 2:22.7 | and his reminder to us all to continue to study |
| 2:26.2 | and fall more deeply in love with Jesus and our church. |
