Summary

This month our patron is St. Kateri. After she was baptized, Kateri faithfully followed all of God's rules, including resting on Sundays, despite terrible persecution from her family and tribe. Most of us are free to attend Mass and rest on Sundays, but we still struggle. This week we will explore the following:

Why we have to rest and worship on Sundays
Why going to Holy Mass each Sunday is SO GOOD for us.
The difference between resting and being lazy
How Sundays can help us reset our priorities.
What we learn about God through the 3rd Commandment.

0:28.0	This week on the Catholic Sprouts podcast, we are talking about our Sunday obligation to rest and to worship.
0:35.4	But before we return to that, please join me in praying, come Holy Spirit,
0:39.5	which we are memorizing as part of the BSA to Kids Club this month. In the name of the Father,
0:46.0	and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen. Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful
0:53.7	and kindle in them the fire of your love.

1:21.1	So as we talk about Sundays, we have already answered the question of why we have to keep

1:35.9	Now, the next thing we are going to think about is rest. And the first distinction to understand what rest is, is we need to understand how rest is different
