Today is Monday, May 29th, 2020.

This is the very last week of May.

And as you likely know, May is dedicated to Mary, our Blessed Mother in Heaven.

So we are going to be spending this week talking about the rosary.

But before we get there, let's pray a beautiful prayer to Mary that we have been learning all

month in the Be a St. Kids Club, the Memerare.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen. Remember,

O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to thy protection

implored thy help or sought thy intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee,

O virgins of virgins, my mother.

To thee I come before thee I stand, sinful and sourful.

O mother of the word incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen.

So the rosary. Now there are so many wonderful things to talk about with the rosary. There are

miracles specifically associated with the rosary. It has a beautiful history. And it also has some specific

ways that we can pray it or even go deeper while praying it. So today we're going to go back to

the beginning and we're going to talk about the origin of this prayer. So how did we get the rosary? Well, it's a long story, but it mostly centers around
