Greetings young Squire Sprouse. Today is the 27th day in the fifth month in the year of our Lord, 2023. My name is Sir Roland Paterlot, and you're listening to Saturdays with Sir

Rowland on Catholic Sprouts where every Saturday we discuss the art of dragon slain. Today on the

vigil of the Feast of Pentecost,

we shall hear perhaps my favorite story of all time. I have invoked the intercession of

St. Philomena, who has had such an impact on my life that I have named my youngest daughter,

Lady Lumina, after this saint. To my prayers to Philomena, I have received this letter from her

written to all of you. Here now to read the

letter is my daughter, Lady Hannah. My dearest goodlings, Sir Roland has asked me to share my

story with you in hopes that it will grant you courage to live out the virtues of chastity and

chivalry. My story begins nearly500 years after my life ended.

In the year of our Lord, 1802 in the catacombs of St. Priscilla in Rome,

excavators came across my hidden tomb, which had been lost to history.

From the markings on the tomb, they knew that my name was Spilamina, that I was a martyr,

and that I was a young maiden at the time of my death.
