Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Monday, January 28th, 2019. Today is also the feast day of St. Thomas Aquinas. This week on the Catholic Spouts podcast, we are going to be diving into the theological virtue of love. We have already talked about the other two theological

virtues, the virtue of faith and the virtue of hope. Today on the feast day of the great

saint, St. Thomas Aquinas, we are going to talk about what the virtue of love is just a little

time, however, talking about how these three virtues, faith, hope, and love are not actually

separate virtues. They really go together. And we talk about them separately just so that we can

But as you grow in the virtue of faith, you will grow in the virtue of hope, and you will

grow in the virtue of love.

So first of all, let's talk about St. Thomas Aquinas.

So maybe you've heard that name before.

A lot of schools and churches are named after this great

saint. So St. Thomas Aquinas was a Dominican. Dominicans are known for being wonderful preachers,

and St. Thomas Aquinas in particular was known for being an incredible scholar and writer.

He wrote about lots of different things in our Catholic faith.

He is seen as the Doctor of Angels, meaning he wrote a lot about angels to help us understand

angels is. But he also spent a lot of time proving the existence of God. He was a deep thinker,

and as you can imagine, it can be hard to prove the existence of God, especially to someone that doesn't believe. You know,
