Today is Tuesday, April 18th, 2020.

We are talking today about our patron for this month of the B.S. St. John of Arc.

But before we get into the details of her

incredible life, let's work on praying and learning the conclusion to the divine mercy

chaplet, which she is challenging us to learn as part of the B.S.A. St. Kids Club this month.

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

Amen. Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible,

look kindly upon us and increase your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair

nor become despondent,

but with great confidence, submit ourselves to your holy will,

which is love and mercy itself. Amen.

So we are going to keep talking about the parts of the Mass,

including Holy Communions starting for tomorrow.

But for today, let's talk about St. Joan of Arc.

Now, St. Johnovarque has her feast day at the end of May, but we are looking to her for guidance this month.

She's an incredible saint, no matter what time of year it is.

So St. Joan of Arc was French.

She was the daughter of a poor French farmer, but she lived during a very difficult

period of history in France.

She lived during what is now known as the 100 years war.
