Summary

This week we return to our series on the Mass. Join us as we discuss Holy Communion, and pray for all those receiving their First Holy Communion this Spring. 0:30.5	Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Monday, April 17th, 2023. This week on the Catholic Spouts podcast, we are returning to our series on the Mass. So we have already talked about a lot, including all the way up to the Eucharistic prayer.
0:42.4	This week we are going to be picking up with Holy Communion, a super important part of Mass.
0:49.8	But before we get there, today we are going to be talking about the patron for this month of the Bia St.
0:57.3	Kids Club, St. Joan of Arc, my personal patron saint, who I took on as a patron when I was confirmed.
1:06.5	And she is challenging us to remember what we celebrated yesterday.
1:12.1	Yesterday we celebrated Divine Mercy Sunday.
1:16.4	A big part of the Divine Mercy devotion is the chaplet, where we say repeated prayers
1:23.5	begging for God's mercy to flood into our lives.
1:27.3	And St.
1:27.7	Joan of Arc is challenging us to learn, hopefully memorize it possible, the conclusion to that chaplet.
1:35.8	So the divine mercy chaplet in this, we repeat one prayer over and over again.
1:42.2	And that prayer is, for the sake of his sorrowful passion,
1:47.1	have mercy on us and on the whole world. So when you pray the divine mercy chaplain, you pray
1:54.1	that prayer 50 times on each bead where you would pray a Hail Mary during a rosary.
2:01.2	Now there's other prayers that we say.
2:03.4	Some are familiar.
2:04.4	Some will be new.
2:05.7	But when you get to the end, you pray the conclusion prayer, which is what we are going
2:11.4	to be learning and practicing this month.
2:14.6	So if you don't have a BSA Kids Club booklet, then you can just listen. If you have it,
