Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Tuesday, March 28, 2023. This week we are talking about the Mass, specifically the Eucharistic prayer. But before we dive into that, please join me in praying the surrender prayer.

Take Lord and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, and my entire will.

So we are going to start talking about the specific parts of the Eucharistic prayer.

Just to review the part leading up to this is the offatory where the gifts are brought forward,

but also when the priest prepares the altar, washes his hands.

So the very first part of the Eucharistic prayer is a part where we offer Thanksgiving. The priest usually starts with words similar to this. The Lord be with you,

and then we respond to end with your spirit. The priest says, lift up your hearts. We say we lift them up
