2003. My name is Sir Roland Peter Lott, and you're listening to Saturdays with Sir Roland on Catholic

Sprouts where every Saturday we discuss the art of dragon slain. Last week we began our discussion

on the yellow dragon of Acadia. This dragon's deadly sin is sloth, making us spiritually lazy

and apathetic with no passion for becoming saints. This week, I am excited to share with you,

a letter of advice I have received for all of you from the legendary dragon slayer, St. Paul,

whom I have prayed to and asked him to train us and slain the yellow dragon.

Here now, to read the letter is my friend Sir Dan Paul, who is named after this legendary slayer.

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus, by the will of God.

To the guild members of Sir Roland Paterlott's

Dragon Slayers Training Guild, Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

It brings me great joy to hear of your training. There are many pieces of advice that I would

love to share with you in regards to dragon slaying, but our time is limited.

It is my task in this letter to tell you of my conversion an encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ,

who appeared to me as a blinding white light when I was traveling to Damascus to persecute more Christians and instantly healed me of my dragon's

sickness. The light was the most intense thing I had ever seen, and the voice was like nothing

I had ever heard before. Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? I asked the voice who he was,

and he replied, I am Jesus whom you are persecuted.

After the experience, I lay dumbfounded and blind.

The world had gone dark and I felt dead to my former life.

He made me blind in my wrath so that I could finally see his mercy and grace. I already had passion in my heart.

He just needed to point it in the right direction.
