Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Tuesday, November 1st, 2022. It is also a holy day of obligation. It is All Saints Day, where we celebrate all of the faithful that are with Christ in heaven.

Today we are also kicking off a new month of the Be a Saint Kids Club.

Our patron this month is a man from South America, a mystic, a miracle worker, his name, St. Martin de Porres.

We're going to learn a lot from him this month, but the first challenge that he offers us is to dedicate ourselves to praying for the dead this month.

And to do that, we are going to be memorizing a prayer for the dead and praying it together each day.

So yesterday I challenged you to think of the names of the people whom you have loved and who have

died that you have an obligation to pray for. So bring those names to mind and join me as we pray

the prayer the St. Martin challenges us to memorize. In the name of the

Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen. In your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust our brothers and

sisters. In this life, you embrace them with your tender love. Deliver them now from every evil and bid them eternal rest.

The old order has passed away.

Welcome them into paradise, where there will be no sorrow, no weeping or pain,

but fullness of peace and joy, with your son and the Holy Spirit forever

and ever. Amen. So yesterday we talked about what happens at the moment of death. And today,

we are going to talk about one of those three places where souls are sent after death.

We're going to start with heaven.

Today is Old Saints Day.

So we are celebrating all of the saints that we know of in heaven.

But there are a lot of people up there that we don't know about.

They are with Jesus.

Maybe they lived a very holy life, but it was very private, not a big deal.
