Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Friday, October 28, 2022. We are still in October, still under the patronage of St. Teresa of Lus, so let's pray together the Hail Holy Queen Prayer. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. Hail Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our

hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee, do we send up our sighs, mourning, and weeping

in this veil of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy, towards us,

and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement,

o loving, o sweet virgin Mary, pray for us, O holy O clement, oh, sweet virgin Mary,

pray for us, O Holy Mother of God,

that we made worthy of the promises of Christ.

Amen.

So we've been talking about the gift of the Holy Spirit,

which is wisdom.

We have also been talking about the seven steps

the St. Bonaventure gave us to wisdom, which are purity, getting rid of sin, being humble, gentle in our speech, willing to learn merciful with ourselves and others, but willing to identify what is good and what is bad.

Today we have just the seventh step left, which is having good intentions with all that we do.

It's about the intention behind it.

And so to talk about this, let's talk about the patron saint of today. We have two

very famous men who have their feast days today, two of the 12 apostles that Christ named

as his earliest followers, and those are St. Simeon and St. Jude. So let's talk about St. Jude. Well, historically, we believe that

St. Jude was actually a cousin of Jesus. We don't know exactly, but we could guess that he probably

grew up with Jesus, that they're both from Nazareth, that they spent a lot of time playing

together as boys.

So that's pretty fun to think about.
