Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Thursday, October 27th, 2020. We are in the final week of October, spending time with our patron, St. Chures of Lassou, for the B.S.A. St. Kids Club. And I hope you

are close to memorizing the Hail Holy Queen,

which she has challenged us to learn to memorize this month. If you will join me,

in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen. Hail, Holy Queen, Mother

of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor

banished children of Eve. To thee, do we send up our sighs, mourning, and weeping in this

veil of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy, towards us, and after this

our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

O clemento loving, O sweet Virgin Mary, pray for us, O Holy Mother of God, that we made worthy

of the promises of Christ. Amen.

So this week we're talking about wisdom, the gift of the Holy Spirit, and how God will make us saints.

And we need to hold truth in our mind, the truth about Jesus, ourselves and other people to be wise.

And we are working through St. Bonaventure's seven steps to wisdom. We talked about the first four yesterday,

which are purity, meaning coming sinless, being humble, being gentle in speech, and number four,

being willing to learn. So we're going to talk about steps number five and six today,

because they go together. So step number

five is to be merciful with ourselves and other people. And the number six is to be clearly

identifying what is good and of God and what is bad, what is evil.

So let's talk about the first one first.

Number five, to be merciful with ourselves and other people.

Now, we know that God desires a relationship with us.
