0:23.7

Hey there, Spouts.

0:27.4

Today is Friday, August 26th, 2020.

0:33.4

This week on the Catholic Spouts podcast, we're talking about the universal call to holiness,

0:37.9

how if we all become holy will change the world.

0:46.3

How love, love for Jesus Christ is the motivation to become holy, to do more than the bare minimum.

0:51.7

Talks about the first two parts of this, how any normal Christian can become holy.

0:55.7

Number one, practicing virtue, especially faith, hope, and love.

1:03.3

Number two, prayer, which is a relationship with Jesus Christ. And today we're going to talk about grace. Now, what is grace? Well, grace is something utterly undescribable, but I hope that you experience it in your life

2:04.6

Grace is what allows us to forgive ourselves to keep going. Grace is what bonds two people together

2:11.9

through the sacrament of marriage and makes a family. Grace is what allows us to do things we never thought possible

2:21.2

with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. And so as you can tell from my descriptions, hopefully,

2:27.5

we can receive grace all sorts of ways, but the number one way, the way that we receive the most

2:34.0

grace is through the sacraments.

2:37.7

In fact, the sacraments are like a super high way of grace.

2:43.1

We get like supercharged, crazy amounts of grace through the sacraments.

2:49.1

So here is what I want you to know. We have sacraments that we have received,
