| 0:00.0 | You're listening to Catholic Sprouts, the daily podcast for Catholic kids that strives to plant seeds of faith. |
| 0:16.0 | Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Wednesday, November 28, 2018. It is also the feast day of St. Catherine, |
| 0:28.7 | a French nun who received the vision of the miraculous medal. The miraculous medal is a very common medal to see. It is oftentimes included in rosaries. |
| 0:42.8 | Many people wear it as necklaces or bracelets. It is a beautiful image that Mary herself delivered to St. Catherine. |
| 0:53.0 | And many miracles and many graces have happened because of |
| 0:59.4 | this miraculous medal. Before we get into that too much, let's review what we've been talking about |

| 1:50.7 | Now today, we are going to talk about another aspect of materialism. And here it is. |

| 2:08.4 | But we were not made for this earth. Now, I know this is a big, big concept. And it's hard to think about things beyond what we're experiencing right now. |
| 2:23.6 | But here is a beautiful truth, my friends. |
| 2:27.7 | God didn't create us for this life here on earth. |
| 2:32.7 | He created us for eternal life with him in heaven. That is our true |
| 2:40.5 | destination. Our life here on earth will be very short compared to eternity and internal happiness |
| 2:49.7 | with God. We are simply kind of passing through here. |
| 2:56.4 | What happens here does not matter nearly as much as what happens in our personal relationship |
| 3:03.5 | with God. That is what actually matters. But the more things we own, the more we strive to have more |
| 3:12.9 | money and more possessions, the more we are tied down to this earth, and the harder it will be for |
