Hello and welcome to this episode of Kennedy Saves the World.

0:12.6

There are a few things that I have always had an aversion to in life, minivans and cruise ships.

0:20.8

Cruise ships seem like a magnet for pretty horrible things, whether it's people falling

0:27.3

off the side, people somehow meeting an untimely death, and of course, there's something

0:33.1

about cruise ships that make certain people murderous. Recently, we heard about the death of a teenage cheerleader, Anna Kepner, and her body was

0:42.2

found wrapped in a blanket, surrounded by life jackets in the cabin where she was staying on the

0:49.4

cruise ship.

0:50.4

And it's still quite a mystery.

0:52.8

One of her stepbrothers has been implicated, and the FBI is looking into

0:59.4

what possibly could have happened between them on that ship. He's 16 years old. It's a massive mystery

1:06.7

that is unfolding. The FBI is running point out of Miami, and there is still so much,

1:15.3

we don't know. That's why we brought in Joshua Ritter. He is the most famous attorney

1:20.0

in this room right now, and he's also a Fox News contributor, and very, very smart. So you've

1:27.1

been on both sides of the law in terms of a defense

1:30.9

attorney and a prosecutor. Yeah. As in that. It sounded like you were a perp at one point. Were you

1:36.9

ever a perp? Is that how you got into the law? No. Not the side, not that, not the handcuff side of the law.

1:40.9

Yeah. Yeah. You were either like, my client's innocent. Right. I demand the retrial. Or the guy on the other side saying that guy's guilty. How dare you? Okay. So bring me up to speed on the facts of the case because you hear about a teenage girl losing her life on a cruise ship. It stopped my heart. My 16 yearold went on a cruise ship last year with her friend.

2:01.6

Oh, wow.

2:02.0

And they had some amusing tales, but after hearing all this stuff, it just sort of solidified my

2:08.8

bias against cruise ships, which may be unfair. I know there are a lot of cruisers in the world

2:13.3

who, you know, love nonstop margaritas at 6 a.m.

2:17.6

Right.
