Tonight I'm sitting down virtually with Michelle Bachman, a trailblazing former congresswoman,

presidential candidate, and respected conservative voice.

Now, Michelle recently made headlines by resigning from the Heritage Foundation's top anti-Semitism task force, taking a strong stand when she saw the CEO of the Heritage Foundation

failing to confront what she considered a really dangerous anti-Semitic

situation and rhetoric.

Now, she's here to talk about why she is deeply alarmed, as am I, by what she sees

happening inside both the liberal and the conservative movements in this country and why she believes

speaking out now matters more than ever. Michelle, thank you so much for joining me tonight

to talk about this. Dr. Phil, thank you so much for having me on. Well, listen, I think you and I share some real concerns about what's going

on in this country right now. What was the actual triggering event that made you decide to resign

from the Heritage Foundation? Well, it was the statements that were made by some very popular figures on the right,

statements that were highly anti-Semitic, and they were not repudiated by the Heritage Foundation.

The Heritage Foundation has a very close relationship with commentator Tucker Carlson.

And after Tucker made his statements, the head of heritage, continued to embrace Tucker Carlson.

And he said that he would not.

He said, forever, we will always hold on to Tucker Carlson.

And if there's anything that history has shown us, it's that when

anti-Semitism becomes normalized in a society, that's a clear warning sign that there's a

terrible problem happening. We've seen anti-Semitism rise up on the political left, on the

liberal side. And it's been embraced and normalized. And now,

tragically, we're seeing that on the right. And it's happened faster than I could have possibly
