0:15.6	Well, last week, senators announced that bipartisan deal on infrastructure and it contained
0:20.8	about $300 billion in new and improved infrastructure projects, including 65 billion for increasing
0:28.5	access to broadband, 47 for climate resiliency projects, roads, bridges, etc.
0:34.3	It was a huge moment.
0:35.5	And then Biden was packing up to spend a long weekend and camp David and relax and kind
0:42.2	of on his way out made a straight comment to reporters in which he implied that he would
0:47.6	only support this bipartisan deal if it were tethered together with a much larger multi-trillion
0:56.3	dollar deal through budget reconciliation.
0:59.7	I expect that in the coming months this summer before the fiscal year is over that we
1:14.1	will have voted on this bill as well as voted on the budget resolution.
1:23.6	And that's when, but if only one comes to me, this is only me that comes, but I'm not
1:29.3	signing it's in tandem.
1:33.2	This was viewed as a gap and I think not and I think it was viewed correctly as a gap
1:38.2	because Biden quickly walked it back saying he walked back this implied veto threat and
1:44.6	said he would support the bill and he worked the phones all weekend and it seems like they
1:49.5	may have rescued the bipartisan deal, but what I want to talk about first is why even two
1:56.3	bills in the first place Jason, why is there this bipartisan deal and this budget reconciliation
