Hey everybody, welcome back to another exciting episode of the MSPDD. That's the Major

Spoilers Podcast Dungeons & Dragons crawl, so it should be DDC. MSPD and DC? Yeah, DNDC.

The VP is such a VIP, we need to keep the PC on the QT because if the VA finds out

it goes MIA, we're going to be S-O-L-P-D-Q. That would be Matthew playing torque, and we

wrapped up last time just beating the crap out of a mage in some crystal monsters at the

Enclave place, but Matthew, you wanted to tell us a really quick story about a spell or

something. It was a really quick story, but I wanted to tell my story about summon creature.

It's actually, I believe it was summon creature. I was playing a bard, and this was in

3.5 edition. Then it's probably summon monster.

I was trying to figure out what I was going to do because I was out of spells, and I was

low enough level that I only had one really powerful spell, and I'm a freaking bard.

Not only that, they've had me playing a half-linked bard, which I really think was the Dungeon

Master's way of letting me know who was in charge. It was a little bit of a, oh, oh, all right,

you want to play like that? Well, that's fine. We're in the middle of this combat, and we are

literally under siege by the town guard, and I'm looking at my summon monster level, and it's

talking about, you can do this, and you can do this, and you can summon this kind of creature,

and this kind of creature, or this kind of creature, or even a way to save.

And I looked, and I stopped for a moment, and I thought sperm whale,

and I thought a sperm whale, and then I asked the game master, I said,

what I summoned a creature, where does that creature arrive? And he's like,

anywhere you want it to, and I said, even like 10 feet up in the air?

He's like, yes, I'm like 10 feet up in the air on top of the 20 men who are attacking us.
