Good morning. Welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on talk radio as we hurtle towards another fabulous weekend in the beautiful sunshine of this fine country.

Yesterday we started off the show with Daniel from Surrey who basically said that he thought he'd had enough of living here.

He wanted to move to Australia.

He thought that this country was done, that it was dusted.

Well, we decided to go the other way and actually say, we can save the country,

we can salvage the country. All we have to do is think positively and do the right thing.

Excuse me. I imagined my surprise last night when I discovered that Sadiq Khan had finally done

the right thing and got rid of Crescent, the Dick, the head of the Metropolitan Police. We've asked him if we've come on this morning to explain who's going to replace her,

but of course we're not holding out much hope. We've asked him about 25,000 times to come on this show,
