Today though, I'm venturing out in the rain to visit a different sort of Seattle attraction.

My first instinct is to find the elevator, but it's nowhere in sight.

Did you forget to put an elevator in the building, Brian?

We do have an elevator, but we were trying to give people an option to take the stair first.

The best views at the Bullet Center are not from the CEO's office.

You get those views when you climb what people here refer to as the irresistible staircase.

So you walk into the stair enclosure, you look up, you see the stair all the way up to the sixth floor of the building.

And that's hopefully going to draw you up the stair.

The designers wanted to build a staircase that would help people become healthier.

Their intuition was that if the stairs were appealing and prominent, people would use them.

What you see as you climb to the sixth floor are sweeping views of Seattle.

By putting a stair here, we're able to really capitalize on views all the way from the east around to the west.
