seen some of the stuff that you've done for a long, long time. So it's good to finally have you

out on the show with us. Well, thank you. Thanks for having me on. Well, for all the people out there

that don't know you,

could you give us just a brief background on yourself and tell us at the end of the day,

what the heck got you into real estate? Sure. So my name's Avery Carl. I'm a real estate investor.

I have about 250 doors across the, across a few states. I've got short-term rentals,

long-term rentals, apartment buildings,

but my favorite investment type and the type that kind of sprung board me into being a

professional real estate investor, short-term rentals. I've got eight of those. Five of my first

six investments were short-term. I have a company called a short-term shop that is a real

estate sales team. We've got offices in 20 markets. We are the first and largest short-term

rental-specific real estate team. So we help buyers in all kinds of vacation markets,

find and learn to manage short-term rentals. So that's my active income

that we were talking about off-camera a few minutes ago. And got a few, well, a book out

called Short-Term Rental Long-Term Wealth came out in 2021. Got another one coming out on Bigger Pockets

Publishing in February called Smarter Short-Term Rentals. And yeah, I guess that's it for
