Aaron is the founder of Paloosh Properties and Paloosh Capital through which he develops and manages multi-family properties in the metro Detroit area. He brings a unique background to the real estate development community as he comes off a 12-year professional hockey career that encompassed part of 3 NHL seasons. Currently, he finds excitement in green development and prioritizes this in his ground-up projects through features like solar, EV charging, and smart-home-technology. He and the Paloosh team have developed 12 units, are under construction on a 6 unit, and are scheduled to break ground on 3 projects totaling north of 200 units in 2022.
In this episode, Aaron talks about going from professional hockey player to real estate developer. He also dives deep into what a “green development” looks like, the opportunities of this kind of investment, and the process of implementing these green technologies. Lastly, he also shares with us some really great advice especially if you are just starting out in real estate. All these and more on the episode, so make sure to tune in until the end!
