Hey everyone. This is Durenda Wilson. Welcome to this week's podcast. If you don't know me already,

I'm married to Daryl. We've been married for 28 years. We have eight kids ages 13 to 27. We have four grandkids and we have been homeschooling

for 22 years. Last weekend, I had the privilege of sharing my heart with a group of moms in

Massachusetts. And can I just say homeschool moms are my absolute favorite people on the planet.

They are just so amazing in just the way that they care for their kids.

And you all just, I'm always inspired whenever I'm together with other homeschool moms.

So you just need to know that today.

I also wanted to let you know that I'm going to be at Teach Them Diligently in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, May 17th to the

19th. And I would love to see you there. I'd also love it if you would email me with some topic

ideas or questions for future podcasts. I'm hoping to do a Q&A

podcast every several weeks so that I can talk about the things that are on your heart. It's really

the spirit of Titus too, you know, where God has this really great idea of having the older women

speak into the lives of the younger women. What a great concept. And, you know,

last week I talked with one of my favorite Titus two women, Cheryl Bastion, about homeschooling

middle and high schoolers. And so I'm going to reintroduce her today because she's back with me

today. And I'm excited because she's going to be talking about creating

transcripts for a high schoolers, which can feel like a daunting task, but I have a feeling you all are

going to feel a whole lot better when we're done with this podcast. So Cheryl cannot remember a time

when she wasn't teaching. What started with making her brothers play school evolved to job shadowing and

tutoring in high school. And that turned into majoring in early childhood education.
