I'm Susie Larson.

So honored to get to spend this time with you.

In fact, I love joining you every single day, hopefully to bring you daily conversations that inspire you in your faith walk,

that deepen your

understanding of God's word, and that heighten your awareness of God's very tangible and real

presence in your life.

So here's a question for you to get today's conversation started.

Do you ever find yourself kind of in one of those perpetual ruts where you think everybody's

mad at you or nobody cares about you?

In fact, you start to believe it so deeply that you're looking everywhere for evidence to back up those thoughts. And guess what? When you look for evidence to back something up, even if it's a lie, you'll find it. It's just true. Or maybe you think your boss is mad at you. And even if it's not true, you're building a case in your mind almost against yourself through your boss's eyes, and then you start to change your approach to work. You start to play not to lose

instead of playing to win. Well, what happens next? You start to engage people from a place of

insecurity and a really from a lie oftentimes, and we almost self-sabotage our relationships. But maybe insecurity is not your

thing. Maybe envy is where you can't seem to help yourself. You just resent those who seem

operative word here seem more blessed than you. Or maybe you're highly offendable and conflict seems to

just continually surround you. And honestly, conflict follows you and you think it's everybody else's fault.

But if you pause and you look, you realize, you know what?

I get offended a lot.

Well, what are you to do?
