looking forward to this interview. Really, it's a standout interview for me because this book

was just amazing to me. I wish we had 20 copies to give away. But before we get my guest done,

I just want to give you something to think about. It seems that you find often in the church too extreme what I would call erroneous mindsets

when it comes to how we as Christians approach God. You see the entitled saint and the perpetual

worm. So let me explain. The entitled saint is the person who maybe dictates to God,

tells him what he will do, maybe develops a formula about how to get God to do what you want 100% of the time.

And if you're not getting what you want, you missed a step.

That's a scary proposition to me.

But there's another extreme that's troubling as well.

And it's folks who, though they're saved and now seated with Christ, as the

scripture say, focus so much on their worminess that, I think I made that word out, but you

almost get the feeling that they're proud of their humility. Like you're more distracted by their

warminess than you are by God's redemptive work in their life. So what does it mean actually
