CS Lewis was a theologian as well as a professor at Cambridge and Oxford University in England and he died in

1963. He is well known for many of his literary works. You may know him from the Chronicles of Narnia. So he had a very diverse career where he wrote academically as well as creating imaginative novels for children. So in his book The Four Loves, he explores the four kinds of love in

our life and the week before last we explored the first love which was

that familiar love storges, which is love that is more based on affection or familiarity, usually

with family members. They sort of have to like us because they can't

necessarily leave us, so to speak. We don't need to be around our family members but there's

usually always a bond or connection with those people in our especially immediate family.

Well, this week's series is all about the love that you choose for yourself. We cannot choose our family but we can choose our

friends and our lovers. So romantic love or arrows is what this series is all about.

And if you are not necessarily romantically involved with anyone.

Know that you will still benefit from this series because love is the foundation for your life.
